Seam Annealing
Thermatool seam annealing systems can be provided for the complete size range of API pipe and for spiral pipe with any helix angle.
Systems include a mill mounted carriage for holding the inductor above the pipe, equipped with a quick lift feature to rapidly raise the inductor off the pipe to clear any damaging obstructions.
The system can also be equipped with a fully automatic seam tracking system to ensure the complete annealing of the weld seam if it should vary from the vertical position.
Thermatool powers its seam annealing systems with a rugged, reliable VIP Series inverter power supply, which are available in 500 KW or 1,000 KW outputs for operation at 1, 3 or 6 kHz.

Alpha Flying Shears |
Thermatool Alpha Flying Shears are the fastest most efficient and accurate tube cutting systems available in the world today. Alpha’s patented double cut die enables producers to cut dimple free ready for market products directly off the mill in sizes from 3/8” to 6 5/8 O.D. (9 to 163.3mm) with wall thickness from .030” to .250” (0.8 to 6.4mm) at speeds from 50 to 1,000 FPM (15 to 305 MPM). Tube materials which can be cut include mild steel, high tensile carbon steels, boron steel, austenitic and ferritic stainless steel, aluminum, brass and copper.
