Induction Heating - Wire Heating

Inductoheat has supplied many installations to the wire industry for such applications as low relaxation, coating, diffusion and the Hi-Bond process.

Hi-bond is a process of hardening and tempering PC wire used in reinforced concrete structures. The result is a low relaxation high yield strength wire which can be prestressed prior to casting the concrete formation.

In other wire heating applications, the wire strands can be heated in either single or multiple wires running parallel with each other.

Induction is just as effective for heating copper or aluminium wire prior to, or after a coating application.
